What this quote means is that its better to chose good friends than bad friends. Chose your friends wisely. If you don't then your friends will do bad thing and would want you to be a part of that. You probably may feel uncomfortable and think why am i friends with people that do wrong things. What you should do is trust people that will do the right thing and people that don't do anything bad.Then you wont worry about a thing if they even do something wrong. You get to chose your friends and the people you want to talk to and hang out with. No one chooses for you except yourself. Do the right thing by choosing your friends wisely and not bad people.
