What this statement is saying it that if you follow your dreams and goals you you be at the path that you want to take to success. If  you have goals, achievements, or anything that will help you in the future, and you follow them you will be in the right path. For example, if you want to have a good career and go to a good college or university. You need to think on how will you get there, you need to plan goals, achievements, anything that you feel will help you get to that. If you do that karma will take care of itself and wont bother you.
