"It may make a difference to all eternity whether we do right or wrong today"
-James Freeman Clarke

What this quote means is that it will take a long time for you to do something right or something wrong. If your a person that never does bad choices then it will than it will be easy for you to do right choices. If your the type of person that makes wrong choices then it will take you an eternity to do the right choices. An example of this quote can be like when you do a lot of bad things and it took you a while to start doing the right things instead of wrong. Such as stealing from people or stores and you don't even realize that's bad for you. Until maybe someone tells you that a bad choice for a person to make and hen you start to think about doing that right choices and never doing bad things again.
