what this quote is saying is that its better to fail than to cheat. An example of this can be like the Jockey when he tazed the horse to win. He was in 5th place and once he did that he won the race. another example can be like malik when he lost in the wrestling match he didn't make a big deal about it. He lost and he went up to the kids dad and congratulated him for his son, and he also congratulated the kid for winning.
